FAQ
How do these compare to a workbook?
A printed workbook gives you one fixed page; this has as many as you need. Each generator follows a grade-level progression but reshuffles the numbers per click, so retakes and extra practice never repeat.
How do I get free math worksheets without signing up for anything?
Every page on Printivu is the generator itself: open a skill, press Download PDF and you are done. No account, no email, no locked content; the answer key comes in the same file.
How many problems fit on one page?
Twelve, twenty or thirty, your choice, in stacked, in-a-row or compact layouts. Fewer problems print bigger, which suits younger students, and multi-digit pages use wider cells so there is room to show the work.
Are there word problems?
Yes, eight pages: addition, subtraction, mixed, multiplication, division, mixed, two-step and money. The stories are built from templates with fresh numbers on every click, and the key shows the number sentence as well as the answer.
Which topics go beyond the four operations?
Place value (expanded and standard form, value of a digit), rounding to 10, 100 and 1,000, comparing and ordering numbers, decimals, integers with negatives, order of operations, and one and two-step equations. Each has its own page with a difficulty control.
Which grade should I pick?
Grades here describe the number range and whether carrying or borrowing appears, not a strict standard. If your student finishes a page in five minutes with no errors, move up one.
Do all sheets come with answer keys?
Yes, every PDF ends with a key page showing the answers in green over the same layout, so grading is a side-by-side glance.
Can students practice on a tablet instead of paper?
Yes, every math page has a Practice online mode that puts a pen tool over the sheet, so students can work the problems with a stylus or finger and clear the page to retry.
What do the fraction pages cover?
Identifying fractions from pie and bar models, equivalent fractions, comparing, simplifying, adding and subtracting with like and unlike denominators, multiplying, dividing, and converting mixed numbers. Answers on the key are in lowest terms, as mixed numbers when they pass 1.
Is there anything for kindergarten and first grade?
Yes: counting objects and ten frames, number bonds, skip counting, telling time on analog clocks (reading and drawing the hands), and counting coins and bills. All of them have the same live preview, answer key and tablet pen mode as the older pages.
Is there long division and multi-digit multiplication?
Yes. Long division pages draw the bracket the way it is taught, with one or two-digit divisors and optional remainders; multiplication goes up to 3-digit by 2-digit, stacked with space for partial products.
