Why only twelve problems by default?
Long division needs vertical work space. Twelve problems give each one a tall cell for three or four subtraction steps. Twenty fits when students are past the learning stage and write small.
Are there problems with a 2-digit divisor?
Yes, on the 2-digit divisor page linked below: divisors from 11 to 49 and dividends up to four digits, for fifth grade and up.
Do the downloads include answer keys?
Yes, every PDF ends with a key page that repeats the layout with the answers in green. Flip the Answer key switch off if you only want the problems.
How do I print this long division worksheet?

How are remainders written on the key?
As 47 R3, quotient then R and the remainder, which is the form used in most US classrooms. Remainders are always smaller than the divisor and never zero when the switch is on.
Can students practice long division online?
Practice online lays a pen tool over the same sheet, so the steps can be written with a stylus or finger and wiped for another attempt.
