Addition with Regrouping Worksheets
Every problem on this page regroups. That is the point: when carrying is new, a mixed page lets students dodge it, so this generator only draws problems where at least one column carries. Start with 2-digit numbers, move to 3-digit when the marks above the columns look automatic, and keep the answer key on the clipboard.
Every problem needs regrouping.

FAQ
How is this different from the addition pages by digit count?
Those pages default to a mix of regrouping and non-regrouping problems. This one forces carrying into every problem, which is what worksheets titled "with regrouping" mean. The digit pages have the same option under their carrying control.
Which digit length should I start with?
Two digits until the method is solid, then three. The Numbers control switches between them without leaving the page; the 4-digit page is linked below for students who are past that.
Do the downloads include answer keys?
Yes, every PDF ends with a key page that repeats the layout with the answers in green. Flip the Answer key switch off if you only want the problems.
How do I print this addition worksheet?
Click Download PDF and print at 100% scale. The page is already sized for US Letter with printer-safe margins, so no fit-to-page fiddling is needed.
Where does the carrying happen?
Anywhere. Some problems regroup in the ones column only, others in the tens as well, including sums that roll into a new hundred. Regenerate for a fresh mix.
Is there room to show the work?
Yes. Multi-digit pages use three or four columns instead of the five or six on fact pages, so each problem has empty space underneath for carrying marks, partial products or the long division steps.
Can I get different versions for each student?
Turn on the 5 versions switch before downloading. You get five different sheets in one PDF, each with its own answer key, so neighbouring desks cannot copy.
