FAQ

What is the line spacing on narrow ruled lined paper?

6.35 mm (1/4 inch) between lines when printed at 100 percent. That matches the ruling sold under the same name in stationery shops, so your printed sheets sit alongside bought ones without a visible difference.

Can I remove the name and date header?

Yes. Switch Header off in the panel and the lines run from the top margin, with only the small printivu.com line in the footer. Leave it on for classroom work that needs a name at the top.

Can I write on it on a tablet instead of printing?

Yes. Press Write online above the preview and the sheet becomes a drawing surface with a pen and eraser, so it works as scratch paper on an iPad or a touchscreen laptop. Clear it and start again as often as you like.

Wide, college or narrow: which one do I need?

Wide ruled (8.7 mm) is for elementary grades and big handwriting. College ruled (7.1 mm) is the default for middle school through university. Narrow (6.35 mm) packs the most lines on a page for small, tidy writing.

Is there a margin line?

Yes, a vertical line 1.25 inches from the left edge in portrait, the classic red-line position on filler paper. It gives a consistent starting edge for each line of writing.

Does it print on A4 as well as US Letter?

Yes. Switch Paper size to A4 in the panel and the page is laid out again for 210 by 297 mm with the same margins, so nothing is scaled or cropped. Print at 100 percent either way.
