1/8 Inch Graph Paper

This page draws 1/8 inch graph paper to true size: 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) squares, 60 across and 80 down on US Letter. Every eighth line is heavier, so an inch is easy to count. It is fine work: knitting and cross-stitch charts, floor plans, detailed graphs. Choose light or regular line weight, flip to landscape, and download a PDF that prints at 100 percent with no scaling.

FAQ

How big are the squares on 1/8 inch graph paper?

1/8 inch (3.2 mm) squares, 60 across and 80 down on US Letter. Every eighth line is heavier, so an inch is easy to count. Print at 100 percent, not "fit to page", and the squares come out at that exact size.

Should I choose light or regular lines?

Light lines stay in the background so pencil work reads clearly, which is what most students want. Regular lines are darker, better for photocopying and for anyone who finds faint grids hard to see.

Can I write on it on a tablet instead of printing?

Yes. Press Write online above the preview and the sheet becomes a drawing surface with a pen and eraser, so it works as scratch paper on an iPad or a touchscreen laptop. Clear it and start again as often as you like.

Where can I print graph paper for free?

Right here: press Download PDF and the 1/8 inch graph paper comes down as a clean, sizeable file with nothing to sign up for. Six square sizes from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch and 5 mm to 1 cm are one click away in the Paper hub.

Can I get it in landscape?

Yes, switch Orientation to Landscape in the panel. The grid is recomputed for the wider page so you still get whole squares edge to edge, which matters for timelines and wide charts.

Does it print on A4 as well as US Letter?

Yes. Switch Paper size to A4 in the panel and the page is laid out again for 210 by 297 mm with the same margins, so nothing is scaled or cropped. Print at 100 percent either way.
