1/4 Inch Dot Grid Paper

Use it for planners and layouts: draw a weekly spread with seven boxes that are four dots wide and you have even columns without a ruler. Designers rough out screens and posters on it, and students draw diagrams that line up with measurements in inches. Print a stack for a sketchbook, or press Write online and doodle layouts on screen first. Keep a spare sheet beside you for testing column widths before inking.

The spacing equals a quarter inch, so four dots make exactly one inch. That keeps wireframes, floor plans and cards in proportion with standard rulers and graph paper, and a drawing started here can be redrawn on 1/4 inch graph paper later with nothing changing size. People new to dot paper often try to connect every dot, but you only need dots at corners and midpoints.

Light dots are the best default: they guide without showing in ink. Pick Bold if the page will be scanned or photocopied. Change Dot spacing to 5 mm if you want a tighter, more metric layout, or to 1 cm for big lettering and kids' sketches. Landscape gives wide room for timelines and storyboards.

Does it line up with 1/4 inch graph paper?

Yes. The dots fall at the same intervals as the squares on quarter-inch graph paper, so a layout can move between the two without changing scale. Four dots across equals one inch.

What can I use it for besides bullet journaling?

Wireframes, floor plans, card designs, knitting sketches and quick diagrams. The dots give you alignment at every quarter inch, which makes straight edges easy to draw by eye or with a ruler.

Is it printed at exact size?

When you print at 100 percent, dots land 6.35 mm apart on both US Letter and A4. If your print dialog says fit to page, change it to actual size or the spacing will drift.
