Seeing the spelling in a grid helps learners notice patterns like LL, J and the endings of words that look alike in English.

Start Easy with beginners, since a 10x10 grid with three-letter words is a low-stakes first win. Use Medium at 15x15 for learners who already know colors and food. Hard at 20x20 asks for longer words and backwards reading, so it suits students who can say most of the list. You can type up to 30 words from your own unit instead.

Do the Spanish words use accent marks?

The grid uses plain capital letters, so words appear without accent marks or special characters. If your learners need accents, have them write the word correctly beside the grid after finding it.

Is this only for children, or can adults use it too?

Adults learning basic Spanish can use Medium or Hard as a vocabulary warm-up. The words are common ones such as HOLA, AGUA, FRUTA and AMIGOS, so it works as a quick review.

How can I check meaning, not just spelling?
