Easter Bingo Cards
Easter Bingo Cards use 30 spring words, such as egg, bunny, chick, basket, chocolate and cottontail. Every card is arranged differently, and the call sheet keeps the caller organized. Good for classroom spring parties, family brunch tables and church groups.

About this page
Printing helpPass out cards before an egg hunt or while the family waits for brunch. Players mark squares with jelly beans, stickers or paper eggs as words are called from the sheet. A 5 by 5 round runs about fifteen minutes. If you have a large group, print 2 cards per page and use the 5 versions switch so the layouts differ. The caller ticks every word on the sheet so any claimed bingo can be checked.
Easter words are friendly and familiar, so early readers can focus on matching letters. The list starts with short words like egg, bun and hop and builds to colorful, festival, sunshine and cottontail. Compound words such as sunshine and cottontail help readers practice breaking a word into parts. Look-alikes like bloom and blooming, or green and greet, call for careful reading. Afterward, children can write a sentence using the three words they covered first.
Pick 3 by 3 for preschool, 4 by 4 for first and second grade, and 5 by 5 for third grade and older. The free center square can be turned off for a longer round. With Cards per page set to 1, small hands get larger squares. Under Your own words, add family names or your church or school event names. Use New version for a different set of cards.
- Does the list stay secular for a school party?
- The words are spring and egg-hunt themed: bunny, basket, chick, bloom and candy. Add or swap words through Your own words if your school wants a different mix.
- How many different cards can I print?
- Each card is its own arrangement. One or two per page, with up to ten in a single PDF using the 5 versions switch, is plenty for most classrooms.
- What is a good marker for an egg hunt day?
- Small jelly beans, paper eggs or stickers work, and crayon marks are fine. Pick something easy to clear, because you will probably want to play more than one round.
