Which shape will I get?

How do dot to dots work?

Why practice counting by 10s this way?
Because the picture only works if the sequence is right: skip a number and the line goes to the wrong dot. It is self-checking in a way a fill-in-the-blank row is not.
What does the Dots control change?
How many dots the outline is cut into. Fewer dots means bigger jumps and an easier page for preschoolers; more dots means a smoother outline and counting further, which suits first and second grade.
